Prophetic Warning

إنذار الأنبياء

The Prophetic Warning (إنذار الأنبياء) is a fundamental theme throughout Islamic tradition, representing the consistent, compassionate message delivered by Allah's chosen messengers to their people. From Adam to Muhammad (peace be upon them all), each prophet was sent not only to bring good tidings of divine mercy and reward for the righteous but also to caution humanity against the perils of disbelief and disobedience. Their primary role was as [bringers of good tidings and warners], ensuring that humanity would have no excuse on the Day of Judgment for not knowing the truth. These warnings were direct and clear, often reminding communities of the inevitable divine consequences of rejecting God's guidance, such as being [overcome and gathered together to Hell]. Yet, the underlying purpose was always mercy: to inspire fear of Allah and guide people back to a path of righteousness, [that he may warn you and that you may fear Allah so you might receive mercy]. Prophets like Noah (peace be upon him) persevered in their mission, even when their message was met with hostility, embodying the unwavering commitment to convey Allah's truth. This consistent divine communication underscores Allah's justice and His boundless opportunity for humanity to choose guidance before it is too late.

Quran 25 verses

قُل لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ سَتُغْلَبُونَ وَتُحْشَرُونَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمِهَادُ

Qul lillazeena kafaroosatughlaboona wa tuhsharoona ilaa jahannam; wa bi'sal mihaad

Say to those who disbelieve, "You will be overcome and gathered together to Hell, and wretched is the resting place."

Commentary

Ma'arif-ul-Quran: Commentary Some readers of verse 12: قُل لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ‌وا سَتُغْلَبُونَ just cited, above may have some doubt about disbelievers being overcome because this is not the case with all disbelievers of the world.
