Blessing / Favor
نِعْمَة
*Ni'mah* (نِعْمَة) refers to the boundless blessings and favors that Allah bestows upon His creation, an enduring and central theme in the Quran. It encompasses every form of goodness, from the sustenance that sustains life to the profound spiritual guidance that illuminates hearts. Allah reminds us that [if you should count the favor of Allah, you could not enumerate them], emphasizing the sheer abundance and comprehensiveness of His generosity. These favors are not merely material; they extend to tremendous spiritual gifts and transformative social changes. The sending of prophets, like Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), is highlighted as a immense favor, as [Allah conferred great favor upon the believers when He sent among them a Messenger from themselves]. This divine grace also manifests in unity, transforming discord into harmony, as seen when Allah brought hearts together, making people [by His favor, brothers]. Recognizing and appreciating these *ni'mah*, from the smallest daily comfort to the greatest spiritual guidance and special nights like [the Night of Decree, which is better than a thousand months], is fundamental to a believer's gratitude and relationship with the Divine, inspiring constant remembrance and praise.
