Aaron

هَارُون

Aaron (Harun), peace be upon him, is a revered prophet in Islam, celebrated for his profound brotherhood with Prophet Moses (Musa) and his crucial role in their shared divine mission. When Allah commanded Moses to confront the tyrannical Pharaoh, Moses, humbly aware of his own speaking difficulties, earnestly appealed to Allah to appoint his brother alongside him. He specifically asked for [Aaron, my brother], to [increase through him my strength] and to [let him share my task]. This poignant request highlights Aaron's eloquent speech and wisdom, essential qualities for delivering Allah's message. Throughout their arduous journey, Aaron faithfully supported Moses, standing by him against Pharaoh's oppression and guiding the Children of Israel. Their deep bond and mutual reliance are further exemplified when Moses prays, asking, "[My Lord, forgive me and my brother and admit us into Your mercy]." Aaron's unwavering support and prophetic guidance make him a significant figure in Islamic tradition, embodying the power of solidarity and mutual strength in fulfilling a sacred duty.
