Mount Judiyy
الْجُودِيِّ
Mount Judiyy holds a deeply cherished and unique significance in Islamic tradition as the fabled resting place of Prophet Nuh's (Noah) Ark following the momentous Great Flood. After the world was cleansed, a pivotal moment of divine command ushered in a new beginning: [it was said, "O earth, swallow your water, and O sky, withhold [your rain]."]. Following this decree, as the overwhelming waters began their swift retreat and [the matter was accomplished], the majestic ark, a beacon of hope and survival, gently [came to rest on the [mountain of] Judiyy]. This marked not only the dramatic conclusion of a global deluge but also the dawn of a new chapter for humanity and all life. For believers, Mount Judiyy stands as an enduring testament to Allah's absolute power, His justice against disbelief, and His boundless mercy in granting new opportunities. Quran 1 verse
وَقِيلَ يَٰٓأَرْضُ ٱبْلَعِى مَآءَكِ وَيَٰسَمَآءُ أَقْلِعِى وَغِيضَ ٱلْمَآءُ وَقُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ وَٱسْتَوَتْ عَلَى ٱلْجُودِىِّ وَقِيلَ بُعْدًا لِّلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
Wa qeela yaaa ardubla'ee maaa'aki wa yaa samaaa'u aqi'ee wa gheedal maaa'u wa qudiyal amru wastawat 'alal joodiyyi wa qeela bu'dal lilqawmiz zaalimeen
And it was said, "O earth, swallow your water, and O sky, withhold [your rain]." And the water subsided, and the matter was accomplished, and the ship came to rest on the [mountain of] Judiyy. And it was said, "Away with the wrongdoing people."
اور حکم دیا گیا کہ اے زمین اپنا پانی نگل جا اور اے آسمان تھم جا۔ تو پانی خشک ہوگیا اور کام تمام کردیا گیا اور کشی کوہ جودی پر جا ٹھہری۔ اور کہہ دیا گیا کہ بےانصاف لوگوں پر لعنت
