Story of Moses and Pharaoh

The story of Prophet Moses and Pharaoh is one of the most frequently recounted and deeply significant narratives in the Quran, a powerful testament to divine power and justice. Allah often introduces it, asking, [“Has there reached you the story of Moses?”] or stating, [“We recite to you from the news of Moses and Pharaoh in truth for a people who believe”]. This epic tale recounts Moses’ upbringing in Pharaoh's court, his prophetic mission alongside his brother Aaron, and their confrontation with the tyrannical Pharaoh, who claimed divinity and enslaved the Children of Israel. Despite numerous miraculous signs from Allah, Pharaoh remained defiant, leading to the miraculous exodus of Moses and his people across the Red Sea, and Pharaoh’s ultimate drowning as a consequence of his arrogance and oppression. [“Then We sent after them Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his establishment, but they were unjust toward them. So see how was the end of the corrupters”]. This narrative offers timeless lessons on faith, perseverance, divine intervention, and the inevitable triumph of truth over falsehood, serving as a beacon of hope for all who struggle against oppression.

Quran 4 verses

Summa ba'asnaa mim ba'dihim Moosaa bi Aayaatinaaa ilaa Fir'awana wa mala'ihee fazalamoo bihaa fanzur kaifa kaana 'aaqibatul mufsideen

Then We sent after them Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his establishment, but they were unjust toward them. So see how was the end of the corrupters.
