Divine Plan

The concept of the Divine Plan, or *Makr Allah* (مَكْرُ اللَّه), offers profound comfort and reassurance within Islamic tradition. It speaks to Allah's absolute knowledge, wisdom, and power, affirming that nothing happens outside His perfect decree. While "makr" can sometimes imply cunning, when attributed to Allah, it signifies His profound, subtle, and ultimately superior planning that always prevails over human schemes, especially those intended to harm or undermine truth. As the Quran declares, [And the disbelievers planned, but Allah planned. And Allah is the best of planners]. This means that even when adversaries plot against believers or truth, Allah's encompassing design is always at work to protect, guide, and establish justice. His plan may involve [weakening the plot of the disbelievers] or [establishing the truth by His words], often in ways beyond human comprehension. This understanding reminds believers to place their trust completely in Allah, knowing that His wisdom ensures the ultimate triumph of goodness and order, as He [checks some people by means of others, preventing corruption on earth]. It fosters a deep sense of serenity, acknowledging that despite worldly challenges, Allah's benevolent and just plan is always unfolding.

Quran 29 verses

Fahazamoohum bi iznillaahi wa qatala Daawoodu jaaloota wa aataahul laahulmulka Wal Hikmata wa 'allamahoo mimmaa yashaaa'; wa law laa daf'ullaahin naasa ba'dahum biba'dil lafasadatil ardu wa laakinnal laaha zoo fadlin 'alal'aalameen

So they defeated them by permission of Allah, and David killed Goliath, and Allah gave him the kingship and prophethood and taught him from that which He willed. And if it were not for Allah checking [some] people by means of others, the earth would have been corrupted, but Allah is full of bounty to the worlds.
