Death and Life

In Islam, the concepts of life and death are profound reminders of Allah's supreme power and wisdom. It is Allah alone who [gives life and causes death], and this divine authority shapes a believer's entire worldview. Muslims understand that [no soul can die except by Allah's permission, at a decree determined]. This fundamental truth instills both awe and acceptance, recognizing that every moment of existence is a precious gift from the Creator. The Quran teaches us that [every soul will taste death], an inevitable journey that transcends all earthly barriers, as [death will overtake you wherever you may be]. While death marks an end to worldly life, it is not an annihilation but a transition to the next phase of existence, where believers await their full compensation. For those who give their lives in Allah's cause, they are not dead but truly alive with their Lord, a testament to the transformative power of divine mercy. This understanding encourages gratitude for life and a mindful preparation for the eternal abode.

Quran 12 verses

Alam tara ilal lazeena kharajoo min diyaarihim wa hum uloofun hazaral mawti faqaaala lahumul laahu mootoo summa ahyaahum; innal laaha lazoo fadlin 'alannaasi wa laakinna aksarannaasi laa yashkuroon

Have you not considered those who left their homes in many thousands, fearing death? Allah said to them, "Die"; then He restored them to life. And Allah is full of bounty to the people, but most of the people do not show gratitude.
