Moses' First Revelation

تَكْلِيمُ مُوسَىٰ

The First Revelation of Moses, known in Arabic as *Taklīm Mūsā*, marks a profound and pivotal moment in Islamic tradition, signifying the very beginning of Prophet Moses' (Musa's) divine mission. While traveling with his family, Moses perceived from afar [a fire] on the side of Mount Tur. Seeking warmth or guidance for his loved ones, he approached this mysterious light, only to be met not with flames, but with a magnificent divine address. At the sacred valley of Tuwa, Allah spoke directly to him, calling out [O Moses], and declaring the blessedness of the spot [and exalted is Allah, Lord of the worlds]. This unparalleled encounter was where Allah chose Moses as His prophet, entrusting him with the monumental task of delivering His message to Pharaoh and the Children of Israel. It was here that [We called him from the side of the mount at [his] right and brought him near, confiding [to him]], endowing him with miraculous signs and the clarity of divine truth, setting the stage for one of the most significant prophetic narratives in the Quran.

Quran 8 verses

وَنَٰدَيْنَٰهُ مِن جَانِبِ ٱلطُّورِ ٱلْأَيْمَنِ وَقَرَّبْنَٰهُ نَجِيًّا

Wa naadainaahu min jaanibit Tooril aimani wa qarrabnaahu najiyyaa

And We called him from the side of the mount at [his] right and brought him near, confiding [to him].

اور ہم نے ان کو طور کی داہنی جانب پکارا اور باتیں کرنے کے لئے نزدیک بلایا
