The commencement of divine inspiration, known as *Bad’ al-Wahy*, marks the profound moment when God's final revelation began to descend upon Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This pivotal event occurred while the Prophet was in spiritual retreat, meditating in the Cave of Hira, near Mecca. It was there that the Angel Gabriel first appeared to him, commanding him to [Read! In the name of your Lord who created], and revealing the first verses of Surah Al-Alaq. These verses speak of creation, reminding humanity that God [Created man from a clinging substance], and highlighting the divine gift of knowledge: [Taught man that which he knew not]. Initially overwhelmed by the experience, the Prophet sought comfort from his wife, Khadijah, who reassured him.
